K-Tape® For Me is a pure cotton elastic tape that adheres to almost all body surfaces thanks to a hypoallergenic acrylate adhesive layer. With each movement, it stimulates receptors in the skin that transmit these stimuli to the muscles, joint capsules and ligaments. What is K-Taping®?
K-Taping® has quickly become an important pillar of modern therapy. One example among many is the post-operative care of breast removal. This effective concept has its place in top-level sports. The patient retains full mobility, the quality of life increases. Training remains possible despite injuries and the rehabilitation phases are reduced. K-Taping® is also used by many sports disciplines to support the athlete during training, prevention and rehabilitation. Taping tapes offer a wide range of possibilities. Among others, the treatment of muscle contractions, joint instability, lymphatic edema, incontinence and menstrual pain.

The K-Tape®:
For a correct application of the K-Taping® therapy, a specially designed tape, the K-Tape® sports strap, is required. Thanks to the quality of the material used (waterproof membrane but allowing evaporation), it is possible to wear the tape with great comfort and without discomfort for several days, sometimes even up to two weeks. Its elasticity is comparable to that of human muscle. The K-Tape® adheres to the skin thanks to its wavy acrylic layer and is activated by body heat. The durability of the tape, containing no medication or adhesive substances, remains the same whatever the patient does: at work, during sports, while showering, swimming and for all activities of daily life. The therapy therefore maintains its effect as long as the muscle band remains in place.

Do the different colors of K-Tape® have the same characteristics?
All K-Taping® tapes, regardless of color, are manufactured in the same way, have the same tension and the same mechanical properties. Except for K-Tape® Pure, which has been bleached with oxygen and has not been bathed in a color (to meet a growing demand from patients to wear discreet tape). It is therefore more flexible, softer and even better tolerated by the skin. Originally designed only in red and blue (the effects of chromotherapy being controversial because there is no scientific support for the action of the wavelength on the cell), kinesiology tapes were used in a rather stimulating and soothing setting.
